Ryan Hoffner earns PacWest Pitcher of the Week award
QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Grand Canyon senior Ryan Hoffner (Phoenix, AZ/Northwest Christian) has been chosen the PacWest Pitcher of the Week.
The honor was for games played April 7-13 and was announced by the
conference information office in Queen Creek, AZ, on April 14.
The veteran righty was the lone pitcher to earn a victory in the PacWest last week after he posted a 2.45 ERA in 7.1 innings of work vs. Sonoma State. The Antelopes won the contest 5-4.
Hoffner struck out six opponents and allowed just a .160 batting average.
