Southwick earns PacWest weekly pitching award
QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Dixie State junior hurler Skyler Southwick (Las Vegas, NV/Basic) posted a 2-0 mark in two starts to claim PacWest Pitcher of the Week honors.
The award is for games played March 24-30 and was announced on March 31.
Southwick registered a 3.75 ERA in 12 innings of work, striking out 13 while allowing just five earned runs and 10 base hits. Opponents hit just .213 for the week vs. the righty.
