HPU's Nishimura earns Player of the Week
QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Hawai‘i Pacific senior OF Paul Nishimura (Kahalu‘u, HI/Roosevelt) has been chosen the PacWest Player of the Week.
The honor was announced on Monday, March 17, and was for games contested March 10-16.
Nishimura hit .615 (8 for 13) in five starts for the Sea Warriors during the seven-day stratch, scoring six runs, driving in five others and walking six times. He also stole three bases, doubled once, produced a .692 slugging rate and recorded a .750 on-base percentage.
