Marko Kolaric claims weekly award again
QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Chaminade senior forward Marko Kolaric (Novi Sad, Serbia) has been chosen the PacWest Player of the Week for the second straight time and for the third week this season.
The honor is for games contested from Feb. 4-10.
Kolaric averaged a double-double over three games last week as Chaminade posted a 2-1 mark.
He led the PacWest again in rebounding by averaging 10.7 boards per game. He also averaged 18.3 points per contest, shooting 57.5% (23 for 40) from the field.

Seasiders split a pair of contests.
Chris Clock (Los Gatos, CA/Los Gatos) - The senior guard from Notre Dame de Namur averaged 24.0 points per game over two contests last week as the Argos split with Grand Canyon. He shot 60.9% (14 for 23) from the field and made 12 of 19 (63.2%) three-point attempts.
Ryan Cooper (San Jose, CA/Piedmont Hills) - The senior point guard led Notre Dame de Namur to a 1-1 week at Grand Canyon by averaging 15.5 points and 2.5 three-pointers made per game. Cooper shot 55.6% from beyond the arc (5 for 9) while also giving out three assists per contest.
Hayden Heiber (Red Bluff, CA/Red Bluff) - The senior guard from Chaminade averaged 13.0 points, 6.67 assists and 2.67 steals per game as the Silverswords posted a 2-1 week.

The Grand Canyon junior averaged 16.0 points and
7.3 rebounds per game as the Antelopes posted a 1-2 week. He also
averaged 2.67 steals per contest during the stretch.
John Smith (Berkeley, CA/Pinole Valley) - The junior guard for Hawai‘i Hilo averaged 12.0 points, 2.0 steals, 2.0 three-pointers made, and 4.5 assists per game as the Vulcans split with first-place Chaminade last week. He shot 57.1% (4 for 7) from beyond the arc and 61.5% (8 for 13) from the field.
Paul Peterson (Abilene, TX/Cooper) - BYU-Hawaii's senior guard averaged 19.5 points over two games as the Seasiders split a pair of contests. He made 58.3% of his three-point shots by draining 7 of 12 attempts. He also averaged 3.5 three-pointers made per game, recorded 2.0 steals per contest and was 4 for 4 from the foul line.
Ryan Sanchez (Ogden, UT/Fremont) - The junior poured in 21 points and inhaled nine rebounds as Dixie State won at Grand Canyon in its lone contest of the week. Sanchez made 6 of 8 field goal attempts (75%) and also doled out four assists.
Kasey Winters (Mesquite, NV/Virgin Valley) - The senior center scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Dixie State upended Grand Canyon in the lone game of the week for the Rebels. Winters made 7 of 11 field goal attempts (63.6%).
Logan Wolf (Phoenix, AZ/Camelback) - The senior forward from Hawai‘i Pacific scored 13.0 points and grabbed five rebounds as the Sea Warriors lost to BYU-Hawaii in their lone game of the week. He hit both of his three-point attempts in the setback.
