Chaminade vs. Dixie State CBS College Sports Game of the Week this Sat.

QUEEN CREEK, AZ - The Pacific West Conference will have the honor of tipping off the basketball schedule of the 2009 NCAA Division II Regular Season TV Package on Saturday, Jan. 3, when the Chaminade University of Honolulu men's basketball team visits St. George, Utah, to take on Dixie State College of Utah in the PacWest opener for both clubs.

The game will be broadcast live on CBS College Sports Network (formerly CSTV), as well as streamed live on the Internet at http://www.NCAA.com, starting at 1 p.m. MST/10 a.m. HT.

The game was selected by the NCAA Division II Presidents Council and the NCAA Division II Media Advisory Group as the NCAA Division II Basketball "TV" Game of the Week for Jan. 3 and is the first of nine total Division II men's and women's contests being produced and televised by NCAA Productions this year.

Jan. 3 - Chaminade @ Dixie State

Jan. 31 - Cal St. Los Angeles @ Cal St. San Bernardino

Feb. 14 - Colorado Christian @ Metro State

Feb. 21 - Northwest Missouri State @ Central Missouri

Feb. 28 - Wheeling Jesuit @ West Liberty State

Women's Basketball

Jan. 10 - Florida Southern @ Barry

Jan. 17 - East Stroudsburg @ Shippensburg

Jan. 24 - Incarnate Word @ Saint Mary's (TX)

Feb. 7 - Northwest Nazarene @ Seattle Pacific

This marks the third year of the NCAA Division II Regular Season TV Package that included six football games this fall, and the 11 men's and women's basketball games this winter.

NCAA Productions already has broadcast the men's and women's soccer championships and the football semifinals, and will broadcast the men's and women's basketball semifinals, as well as the softball and baseball championships starting in March.
