Dixie State @ BYU-Hawaii on Feb. 4 in PacWest Men’s Basketball Game of the Week

LAIE, HI – This Saturday’s PacWest Game of the Week will feature Dixie State visiting BYU-Hawaii on Feb. 4.

Each week during the men’s basketball season, the PacWest will spotlight a game that will be broadcast live over the Internet. The Red Storm and Seasiders will tip off at 7:30 p.m. (HAST) with the audio and video broadcast available.

BYU-Hawaii is 11-7 overall and 8-1 in the PacWest, while Dixie State is 14-4 overall and 9-1 in the conference. The contest will be a battle for first place.

Seasider senior guard Jet Chang (Yilan, Taiwan) leads BYU-Hawaii and the PacWest in scoring with an 18.2 points-per-game average.

Junior guard Okesene Ale (Hau‘ula, HI/Kahuku) ranks second on the squad in scoring with a 12.5 per-game mark, while sophomore forward Bracken Funk (Highland, UT/Lone Peak) is averaging 11.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest.

Dixie State senior guard Maurice Cole (Norwalk, CA/Sante Fe) is averaging 12.2 points per game and tops Dixie State in scoring.

Senior forward Griffon Jones (Cheney, WA/Cheney) leads the Red Storm in rebounds per game (6.4) and is second in point production (12.1 ppg.), while junior guard McKay Massey (Payson, UT/Payson) is posting 10.1 points per outing.
