Franco Carotenuto earns PacWest Men's Soccer Player of Week honor

QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Grand Canyon junior goalkeeper Franco Carotenuto (Scottsdale, AZ/Chaparral) registered a 0.87 goals against average in three starts to earn the Pacific West Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week award.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Queen Creek, AZ, on Sept. 22 and is for games played from Sept. 14-21.

Carotenuto recorded a 0-1-2 mark in three games played on the road in the Northwest. He twice forged double-overtime ties for the Antelopes and stopped 13 shots on goal during the trip to post a .812 save percentage.

Joshua Ademosu - Grand Canyon (Jr., D/M, 5-11, 175, London, England)...had game-tying goal vs. Seattle Pacific on Sept. 15...teams played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw.

Max Anton (photo) - Hawai‘i Pacific (Jr., M, 5-7, Kailua, HI/Kalaheo)...scored game-tying goal in 85th minute as HPU rallied from a 2-0 deficit vs. Cal Baptist on Sept. 19...teams tied 3-3 in double-overtime.

Viktor Behzani - BYU-Hawaii (So., M, 5-11, 175, Tirana, Albania)...scored Seasiders' first goal in 2-1 victory over Cal Baptist on Sept. 15.

Chance Bukoski - Hawai‘i Pacific (Fr., M, 5-8, Kapa‘a, HI/Kapa‘a)...helped rally the Sea Warriors from a 2-0 deficit vs. Cal Baptist on Sept. 19 by scoring HPU's first goal...teams tied 3-3 in double-overtime.

Doug Hansen - BYU-Hawaii (Sr., GK, 6-2, 190, Los Altos, CA/Los Altos)...earned a victory in net for the Seasiders as BYU-Hawaii beat Cal Baptist 2-1 on Sept. 15.

Joel Ibarra - Grand Canyon (Sr., M, 5-9, 175, Yuma, AZ/Cibola)...recorded assist on teammate Joshua Ademosu's game-tying goal vs. Seattle Pacific on Sept. 15...teams played to a 1-1 double-overtime tie.

Bosko Jovicevic (photo) - Grand Canyon (Sr., D, 6-1, 210, Belgrade, Serbia)...scored lone goal in 1-1 double-overtime tie between the Antelopes and Western Washington on Sept. 17.

Kris Lousbury - Chaminade (Jr., GK, 6-3, Phoenix, AZ/Mount Pointe)...posted a 0.43 goals against and one shutout despite going 0-1-1 for the week...forged a 0-0 double-overtime deadlock with Dominican (CA) on Sept. 21...halted 12 of 13 shots on goal during the week.

Adam Maciejewski - BYU-Hawaii (Jr., M, 6-0, 190, Hamburg, Germany)...had game-winning goal vs. Cal Baptist on Sept. 15 in 2-1 BYU-Hawaii victory.

Rayden Tsutsui - Hawai‘i Pacific (So., M, 5-8, Honolulu, HI/Monalua)...tallied two assists as HPU rallied to tie Cal Baptist 3-3 in double overtime on Sept. 19.
