Cristobol Montes earns Player of Week honor
QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Notre Dame de Namur freshman middie/forward Cristobol Montes (Fremont, CA/John F. Kennedy) scored a pair of goals vs. Dixie State on Oct. 25 to give the Argos a 3-0 victory and claim the Pacific West Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week award.
The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Queen Creek, AZ, on Monday, Oct. 27, for games played from Oct. 20-26.
Montes tallied two of his team's three goals, including the game-winner and finished the week with four points.

Viktor Behzani - BYU-Hawaii (So., M, 5-11, 175, Tirana, Albania)...scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in a 3-0 blanking of Chaminade 3-0 on Oct. 25.
Franco Carotenuto - Grand Canyon (Jr., GK, 5-10, 180, Scottsdale, AZ/Chaparral)...recorded a 0.90 goals against average in 199:59...posted a 1-1 week...recorded 11 saves over the two starts...earned a 2-1 victory in double-overtime vs. NDNU on Oct. 25...halted nine shots on goal in the win.
Zac Hales - Dixie State (Fr., M, 5-8, 170, St. George, UT/Dixie)...scored game-winning goal vs. Grand Canyon on Oct. 21 in a 1-0 win.
Matheau Hall - Grand Canyon (Sr., M, 5-7, 140, Virginia Beach, VA/Landstown)...punched home game-winning goal at NDNU on Oct. 23 with 0:01 left in the second overtime period.
Doug Hansen - BYU-Hawaii (Sr., GK, 6-2, 190, Los Altos, CA/Los
Altos)...shut out Chaminade 3-0 on Oct. 25 by
recording four saves in 90 minutes of action.
Adam Maciejewski (photo) - BYU-Hawaii (Jr., M, 6-0, 190, Hamburg, Germany)...posted a goal and an assist for the Seasiders against Chaminade in BYU-Hawaii's lone contest of the week...BYU-Hawaii won the game 3-0 on Oct. 25.
Mark Rogers - Hawai‘i Pacific (Fr., D/M, 5-10, Pearl City, HI/Pearl City)...tallied the game-winning goal at Hawai‘i Hilo on Oct. 25.
Cody Russell - Grand Canyon (Sr., F/M, 5-9, 160, Glendale, AZ/Cactus)...turned in a three-point effort vs. NDNU on Oct. 23 in a 2-1 GCU overtime victory...scored game's first goal...set up game-winner in the second overtime period with one second left in the game.
Sheldon Steenhuis - Notre Dame de Namur (So., GK, 6-2, Morgan Hill, CA/Live Oak)...started both games during the week, seeing action for the first 45 minutes in both contests...posted a 1-0-0 record...received credit for the victory over Grand Canyon...had two saves and a 0.00 goals against average in 90 minutes of action.
Matt Terry - Hawai‘i Pacific (Jr., GK, 6-0, Honolulu, HI/Saint Louis)...shut out Hawai‘i Hilo on Oct. 25 by halting all six shots he faced...claimed a 1-0 win over the Vulcans.
