Courtney Kessell selected for PacWest pitching honor
QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Hawai‘i Pacific junior Courtney Kessell (Waimanalo, HI/Kailua) registered a pair of victories en route to PacWest Pitcher of the Week honors.
The award was announced on March 24 and was for games pitched March 17-23.
Kessell turned in a 2-0 week in three appearances with a 0.43 ERA for the Sea Warriors. She tossed two complete games - including a shutout - earned one save and struck out 19 batters.
She allowed just one earned run over 16.1 innings of work for HPU.
