Dixie State's Carli Jones rips 3 homers vs. Division I
Southern Utah Univeristy, claims PacWest honor
QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Dixie State senior OF Carli Jones (Mesa, AZ/Mountain View) led the Rebels to a split with Division I Southern Utah on Feb. 28 by slugging three home runs during a twinbill.
Her offensive outburst earned Jones the Pacific West Conference Player of the Week award for March 3. The honor is for games played Feb. 25 through March 2.
Jones finished the day 3 for 5 with three runs scored, seven RBI, two walks and a .714 on-base percentage. Her slugging rate was astonishing - 2.400.
