Sol)...split her four starts in Hawai‘i last
week by going 2-2 with a 1.88 ERA...tossed 26 innings, striking out
18 and permitting seven earned runs.
Leslie Fester (Photo) - BYU-Hawaii (Sr., OF, L/R, 5-3, Fresno, CA/Herbert Hoover)...hit .500 in two games for the Seasiders by going 3 for 6 with three runs...had a .500 slugging mark and a .571 on-base rate.
Strohm Fouty - Grand Canyon (So., OF, L/R, Wahiawa, HI/Mililani)...batted .357 in eight games...went 10 for 28 with four runs, a double and two RBI...was 4 for 4 in stolen base attempts.
Tana Holtorf - Grand Canyon (Jr.,
OF, 5-4, Peoria, AZ/Sunrise Mountain)...started eight
games last week for the Antelopes, hitting .320 with three
RBI...was 8 for
25.
Tanya Huson (photo) - NDNU (Jr., IF, R/R, Tahuya, WA/North Mason)...batted .333 in a doubleheader loss vs. San Francisco State...doubled twice and scored a run...produced a .667 slugging mark.
Randi Johns - Grand Canyon (Jr., 1B/DP, 5-7, Waddell, AZ/Millennium)...hit .409 in eight games...was 9 for 22 with four runs, three doubles and two RBI...posted a .545 slugging rate and an on-base mark of .500.
Courtney Kessell - Hawai‘i Pacific (Jr., P, R/R, Waimanalo, HI/Kailua)...made a strong bid for Pitcher of the Week honors...posted a 3-0 mark with a 0.67 ERA and three complete-game victories...struck out seven and allowed just two earned runs.
Megan Niver - Grand Canyon (Sr., P, 5-8, Phoenix, AZ/Moon Valley)...posted a 2-2 mark in four starts during GCU's trip to Hawai‘i...registered a 2.33 ERA while working 27 innings...gave up nine earned runs while striking out six batters.
Ciera Senas - Hawai‘i Pacific (So., OF, L/R, Wahiawa, HI/Mililani)...batted .381 in six starts last week...was 8 for 21 with six runs scored, a double, and a .475 slugging percentage.
Katresha Veazie - BYU-Hawaii (Jr., P, R/R, 5-10, Erda, UT/Grantsville)...registered 0.53 ERA in an 0-2 week...allowed one earned run in 13.1 innings...struck out seven...opponents hit 196.
