Danielle Holt (photo) - NDNU (Sr., 1B, R/R, Antioch, CA/Deer
Valley) - batted .455 with three RBI and a run scored
in three starts...doubled once...posted a .545 slugging rate and a
.455 on-base mark.
Carli Jones - Dixie State (Sr., OF, R/R, 5-4, Mesa, AZ/Mountain View) - hit .563 (9 for 16) with a 1.000 slugging mark and a .588 on-base percentage...scored five runs, homered twice, doubled once and knocked in five runs.
Nicole Kalakau - Hawai‘i Pacific (Sr., IF, R/R, Waimanalo, HI/Kamehameha Schools) - hit .529 in six starts by going 9 for 17 with nine runs scored, four doubles, two homers and four RBI...walked four times...had a 1.118 slugging rate and a .619 on-base mark.
Cierra Keeney - NDNU (Sr., P, R/R, Tracy, CA/Merrill West) - recorded a 1-0 mark with a 1.00 ERA in two appearances for the Argos...tossed seven innings, allowing seven hits, one earned run and no walks...produced four strikeouts.
Courtney Kessell - Hawai‘i Pacific (Jr., P, R/R, Waimanalo, HI/Kailua) - posted a 3-0 week with three complete-game victories and a 1.67 ERA...tossed one shutout...worked 21 innings, striking out 15 with five earned runs.
Brandi Sasaki (photo) - Chaminade (Jr., C/IF, R/R, 5-0, Palolo,
HI/Kaimuki) - hit .500 in final two games of
season for Silverswords...was 3 for 6 with a home run, one run
scored and two RBI...also walked...posted a 1.000 slugging mark and
a .500 on-base rate.
Haley Schumers - Dixie State (Jr., P/3B, R/R, 5-7, Plain City, UT/Fremont) - hit .500 for the Rebels in four starts vs. Grand Canyon...was 7 for 14 with five runs, five RBI, two homers, a double, a stolen base and a walk...registered a 1.000 slugging rate and a .533 on-base mark...despite an 0-1 mark on the mound in two starts, still managed to strike out eight with a 2.93 ERA.
Yasmeen Watkins - Grand Canyon (Jr., 2B, 5-5, Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope) - in four starts batted .476 by going 7 for 15...scored five runs, drove in five more, homered twice and doubled two times...walked once...boasted a 1.000 slugging mark and a 500 on-base rate.
Brittnie Whipple - Dixie State (Fr., P, R/R, 5-7, Moab, UT/Grand) - claimed two of the Rebels' three victories at Grand Canyon over the weekend...struck out four, scattered seven hits and allowed four earned runs in 6.2 innings of work...finished the week with a 2-0 record.
Justine Williams - Grand Canyon (Jr., 3B/C, 5-5, Twin Falls, ID/Twin Falls) - hit .538 (7 for 13) with three runs scored and five RBI...posted a .538 slugging mark and a .571 on-base percentage.
