Sara Dalgliesh reigns over PacWest again 

QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Grand Canyon senior center Sara Dalgliesh (Grangeville, ID/Grangeville) has been chosen the PacWest Player of the Week for the second straight time.

The honor is for games contested from Jan. 21-27.

Dalgliesh led the Antelopes to a 3-0 week and back into first place in the PacWest by averaging a league-best 24.3 points per game while shooting 66.7% from the field. She made a stellar 32 of 48 field goal attempts and was 8 for 11 from the free throw line (72.7%).

PacWest Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll

Sheila Azevedo (Hilo, HI/Waiakea) - The senior guard averaged 12.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game for Hawai‘i Hilo last week.

Simrin Cummins (Eugene, OR/North Eugene) - The senior guard averaged 14.0 ppg. for Chaminade in a tough 0-3 trip to the Mainland. She shot 50% (12 for 24) during the week.

Jennifer Dreessen (Danville, CA/San Ramon) - The sophomore forward (photo) from Notre Dame de Namur led the Argos to a 3-0 week by averaging 10.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. She also shot 85.7% from the line (6 for 7) and recorded 2.67 steals per contest.

Richelle Fenebock (Coeur d'Alene, ID/Lake City) - The BYU-Hawaii freshman guard averaged 13.0 ppg. in a pair of tough losses at Dixie State.

Ashley Hardin (Chandler, AZ/Marcos de Niza) - The junior forward from Grand Canyon scored 14.7 points, grabbed 7.3 rebounds, and posted 4.33 steals per game for the Antelopes in a 3-0 week. She also shot 51.4% (18 for 35) from the field.

Ashley Jenkins (Ft. Washington, MD/Stephenson) - The senior guard from Hawai‘i Pacific averaged 24.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in three tough losses on the Mainland. She made 6 of 12 three-pointers during the week.

Samantha Murphy (Phoenix, AZ/Xavier Prep) - The rookie guard averaged 14.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest for Grand Canyon as the Antelopes zoomed back into first place. She also shot 66.7% (18 for 27) from the field.

Rosalyn Nelson (Phoenix, AZ/Deer Valley) - The second-year guard averaged 6.67 assists, 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.67 blocks per game during a 3-0 week for Grand Canyon. She also posted a 2.86 assist/turnover ratio.

Deney Phommabout (West Valley City, UT/Hillcrest) - The junior guard was instrumental in Dixie State posting a 3-0 week and bolting the Rebels into second place in the PacWest. She averaged 14.0 points by making 5 of 12 three-point attempts (41.7%) and pilfered 2.0 steals per contest.

Corazon Riley (Antioch, CA/Antioch) - The senior guard from Notre Dame de Namur helped the Argos keep pace in the race for the PacWest title by averaging 12.3 points, 4.33 assists, 1.67 steals and 2.33 three-pointers made per game. She posted a 3.25 assist/turnover ratio and shot 75% (12 for 16) from the foul line.
