Tanaia Keyes collects PacWest Player of Week honor
QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Notre Dame de Namur junior guard/forward Tanaia Keyes (Seattle, WA/Ingraham) has been chosen the PacWest Player of the Week.
The honor is for games contested from Feb. 25-March 2.
Keyes led the Argos to a pair of victories during the final week of the season by averaging 19.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. She made 87.5% of her free throw attempts (14 for 16) during the two wins.

Sheila Azevedo (Hilo, HI/Waiakea - photo) - The
Hawai‘i Hilo junior forward led the Vulcans
by scoring 14.3 points per game last week...also pulled down 6.3
rebounds per contest...made 77.8% of her free throws (7 for 9) and
shot 50.0% from the floor (16 for 32).
Jessica Carver (Layton, UT/Layton) - The Dixie State junior forward averaged 16.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per outing over two games last week...shot 47.8% from the field (11 for 23)...posted 2.00 blocks per game.
Simrin Herington (Eugene, OR/North Eugene) - The senior guard/forward averaged 17.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game for Chaminade last week...shot 60.0% from the field (15 for 25).
Richelle Fenenbock (Coeur d'Alene, ID/Lake City) - The BYU-Hawaii rookie guard averaged 13.5 points per game over two outings for the Seasiders...hit four three-pointers.
Ashley Jenkins (Ft. Washington, MD/Stephenson) - In her final game for Hawai‘i Pacific, the senior pumped in 14 points and collected 14 rebounds as the Sea Warriors doused Hawai‘i Hilo...recorded two steals, two assists and two three-pointers.
Lei Lolohea (West Jordan, UT/West Jordan) - Last week's PacWest Player of the Week led BYU-Hawaii again by averaging 17.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game...shot 92.3% from the line (12 for 13).
Darice Murray (Sacramento, CA/Highlands) - The
NDNU senior forward averaged 9.5 points, 6.5
rebounds, 2.00 assists and 3.00 steals per game as the Argos won
their final two games of 2007-08...shot 44.4% from the floor (8 for
18)...marked her first appearance on the Honor Roll this year.
Jocelyn Norris (Bakersfield, CA/Liberty) - The senior center from Hawai‘i Pacific posted a double-double in her final game for the Sea Warriors...led HPU to a victory over Hawai‘i Hilo by scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds...was 3 for 3 from the line.
Britni Rathke (Snohomish, WA/Snohomish) - The NDNU junior forward averaged 15.0 points and 9.0 rebounds over two games for the Argos...shot 60.0% from the field (9 for 15)...led the PacWest in blocked shots (3.00 p/g) for the week.
Corazon Riley (Antioch, CA/Antioch - photo) - The senior guard from NDNU averaged 17.0 points over two games as the Argos won their final two contests of 2007-08...shot 52.6% from the floor (10 for 19)...hit 6 of 13 three-point attempts (46.2%).
