PHOENIX, AZ - Notre Dame de Namur junior guard Katie Zasley (Foster City, CA/Aragon) has been named the Pacific West Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season.

The award was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Jan. 25, for games contested Jan. 18-24.

Zasley led the Argos to a 63-61 victory at three-time PacWest Champion Grand Canyon on Jan. 23 after scoring 18 points and collecting eight rebounds.

She shot 77.8% (7 for 9) from the field in the victory. She also had three steals and was 3 for 4 (75.0%) from the line.

PacWest Women's Basketball Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll

Jazzmin Awa-Williams (left) - Hawai‘i Pacific (Jr., 5-9, F, Kona, HI/Konawaena)...averaged 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Sea Warriors...ranked sixth in rebounding for the week in the conference...ranked eighth in shooting (64.3%) after making 9 of 14 field goal attempts.

Johnna Brown - Dixie State (Fr., 6-0, F, Las Vegas, NV/Centennial)...scored 16 points and collected six rebounds in 83-62 victory over Dominican (CA) on Jan. 18 - lone game of the week for the Red Storm...tied for fourth in scoring and eighth in rebounding for the week in the conference... chipped in four assists and shot 61.5% (8 for 13) from the floor...ranked ninth in shooting for the week...posted a 1.3 assist/turnover ratio (9th for the week) and contributed two steals.

Lynnette Dalle - Chaminade (Sr., 5-7, F, Leone, SA/Leone)...ranked fourth in scoring for the week in the PacWest...posted 16 points on 58.3% (7 for 12) shooting in lone game of the week - loss vs. Hawai‘i Hilo...was 2 for 2 from the line and committed three steals.

Alisha Flaaten (right) - Dominican (CA) (Sr., 5-6, G, Hayward, CA/Moreau Catholic)...averaged Flaaten 15.5 points, 2.5 steals and 2.5 assists per game in a pair of losses during the week...ranked sixth in scoring for the week in the PacWest...ranked ninth in three-point shooting (61.5% / 8 for 13) and first in three-pointers made per game (4.0) for the week.

Mahina Gago - BYU-Hawaii (Sr., G, 5-9, Las Vegas, NV/Bonanza)...posted 13 points and eight rebounds in lone game of the week - a 74-65 loss vs. HPU on Jan. 23...tied for fourth in rebounding and ranked 11th in scoring for the week in the PacWest...was perfect from the foul line (6 for 6).

Kirsty Imai - Hawai‘i Hilo (Fr., 5-4, G, Hilo, HI/Waiakea)...averaged 15.0 points and 3.5 assists per game over two contests for the Vulcans during a 1-1 week...tied for seventh in scoring and ranked 10th in assist average in the PacWest for the week...ranked second in three-pointers made per game for the week (3.5).

Murphy Genesis Lewis - Hawai‘i Pacific (Sr., 6-4, F, Paramount, CA/Paramount)...averaged a double-double for the week by posting 10.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game...ranked first in rebounding in the conference for the week...also ranked third in blocked shots per game (1.5).

Samantha Murphy (left) - Grand Canyon (Jr., 5-8, G, Phoenix, AZ/Xavier Prep)...averaged 18.0 points and 5.0 assists in a 1-1 week for the Antelopes...tied for first in scoring and tied for second in assist average for the week in the PacWest...was 12 for 13 (92.3%) from the line and led the conference in steals per game (5.5) for the week.

Jessica Nolan - Academy of Art (Jr., 5-11, F, Adelaide, Australia/Hallet Cove)...averaged 17.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in a 0-2 week for the Urban Knights...shot 54.5% (12 for 22) from the floor...ranked third in scoring and third in rebounding for the week in the conference...averaged 4.0 assists (tied for 6th) and 1.0 blocked shots (tied for 4th)...ranked sixth in assist/turnover ratio (1.6) during the week.

Samantha Saito (right) - Chaminade (Sr., 5-4, G, Aiea, HI/Sacred Hearts)...scored her 1000th career point in 71-58 loss vs. Hawai‘i Hilo on Jan. 23...posted 15 points, four assists and four steals in the game...hit 2 of 4 three-point attempts.
