Sarah Biser repeats as PacWest Player of the Week

QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Notre Dame de Namur freshman midfield/forward Sarah Biser (Newark, CA/Newark Memorial) guided her club to another 2-0 mark by recordings an eight-point week, earning her second straight Pacific West Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week honor.

The award was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Queen Creek, AZ, on Monday, Nov. 3, for games played from Oct. 27-Nov. 2.

Biser, who has 15 points in two weeks, scored three goals and added two assists in two games for the Argos. She posted a hat-trick with an assist vs. AAU on Oct. 29, finishing with a seven-point game. She also set up the game-winning goal on Nov. 1 vs. Hawai‘i Pacific.

PacWest Weekly Top 10 Women's Soccer Honor Roll

Erin Beeston - Dixie State (So., M, Edmond, OK/Edmond)...tallied both Dixie State goals in a 2-0 victory at Chaminade on Nov. 1...it marked the lone contest of the week for the squad...credited with the game-winning goal...finished the day with four points.

Tessa Chesser - Grand Canyon (Sr., D/M, 5-6, Phoenix, AZ/Shadow Mountain)... scored lone goal in 1-0 victory at Hawai‘i Hilo on Nov. 1 in a crucial PacWest Conference match-up.

Linzey Harvey - Notre Dame de Namur (Jr., D, 5-6, Tracy, CA/Tracy)...recorded game-winning goal vs. Academy of Art on Oct. 29.

Tami Kalaiwaa - Hawai‘i Pacific (So., MF, Kaneohe, HI/Castle)...scored a pair of goals dur ing the week, including one on a penalty kick...finished the week with four points.

Adele Letro (photo) - Hawai‘i Hilo (Sr., F, 5-8, Davis, CA/Davis)...accumulated seven points in three games as UHH posted a 1-2 week...scored three goals and contributed an assist - all vs. Chaminade on Oct. 28 in a 5-0 victory...credited with scoring the game-winning goal.

Emily Mearns - BYU-Hawaii (So., F, 5-6, San Ramon, CA/California)...scored pivotal game-winning overtime goal at Hawai‘i Hilo on Oct. 28 in a 1-0 victory...win helped thrust the Seasiders into a three-way tie for first place.

Sally Olsson - Notre Dame de Namur (Jr., M, 5-6, Hillsboro, OR/Century)...recorded a five-point week in helping NDNU to a pair of victories...scored game-winning goal at HPU on Nov. 1...had a goal and an assist in 6-1 win over Academy of Art on Oct. 29.

Scottie Prince - BYU-Hawaii (Fr., GK, 5-8, Farmington, UT/Davis)...recorded a p air of victories in net last week...posted a shutout vs. Hawai‘i Hilo...recorded a 0.49 goals against average by allowing just one tally in 184:07 of action.

Margaret Sekona - BYU-Hawaii (Fr., F, 5-3, Juneau, AK/Juneau Douglas)...tallied game-winning goal vs. HPU on Oct. 28.

Randi Walters - (photo) Hawai‘i Hilo (Jr., GK, 5-8, Oxnard, CA/Oxnard)...registered a 1-1 mark over three games during the week...allowed just one goal while making 14 saves in 225:05 of action...recorded a 0.40 goals against average.
