BYU-Hawaii sweeps Chaminade, advances to PacWest title match on Saturday
ST. GEORGE, UT - BYU-Hawaii continued its dominance on Friday morning by sweeping Chaminade 9-0 in the semifinals to advance to the title round of the 2008 Hawaiian Airlines Pacific West Conference Women's Tennis Championship.
The Seasiders will battle the winner of Hawai'i Pacific/Hawai'i Hilo on Saturday morning for the conference team crown.
The PacWest Championships are being held at the Green Valley Resort & Spa in St. George, UT.
Elwen Li and Maggie Deng each earned two victories, first winning at first doubles then taking first and second singles. Becky Lu, Jenn Chin and Ayako Ikedo each won two matches as well for BYU-Hawaii.
